Thanks Sramdaddy!
If it were that easy I would do it tommorow. I am just kind of stuborn I dont want to totally loose my butt when I get rid of this 400ex. For the right terrain and application it is an awesome quad.
Have a great day,

Triston

Spyder its great to hear that your that your picking up your new scrambler tomorrow.
Can't wait to hear from ya about your new machine and remember your break in period is going to be the first tank of feul, so remember to take it easy and stay on flat land until the first tank is through.
The best way to break in a new engine is to go in this percedure:
Step 1
Let the machine warm up for 15 mins. giving light throttle pressure.
Then ride it for 15 mins at 20% throttle varying rpms but dont excede 20% throttle, let cool for 30 mins.
Repeat each step like the first one except let the machine warm you for only 10 mins. and cool down for 20 mins.
The next series of steps are going to be like this:
step 2: 30% throttle
step 3: 40% " "
step 4: 50% " "
step 5: 70% " "
step 6: 90% " "
step 7: vary between 40% and 100% throttle.

After this your break in will be done and you can torture the machine all you want.

And remember one last thing dont rush the break in period you'll weaken the reliability of your machine, the engine parts are so close together that if you run it hard the first day parts like the piston and cylinder could become damaged.
This goes for all machines.

HAVE FUN AND GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR NEW SCRAMBLER!
