Default 06 trailboss water problems

Everytime o go through a puddle maybe 1/2 inch or deeper and im going fast or not even too fast i get water in my clutch and the belt slips. i would like to know what others have done to stop or help prevent this. i was thinking about rerouting the breather for it but i am not sure were to route it to.

Check to make sure there is no cracks in your cover. If not get a new gasket. I have not ever had a problem with mine and i ride in water up to the seat. But have worked on a few at the dealer and seen either the cover cracked of foam gasket bad.

well now for the update. i figured out how the water was getting in and i rigged it for now but i would like to know why there is no bracket there. lets see if i can explain it. looking at the clutch cover bottom left corner there is a hole for what looks like a bolt but there is nothing for the bolt to connect to but the plastic.... i looked at my brother trail blazer and there is a bracket there holding it tight to the motor but mine doesnt have it and it doesnt look like it ever did. with it rigged i took it out last weekend and ran some deeper mud and it was great i just wish i had better tires now but thats for later. so anyone with a 06 trail boss can you look and see if there is a bracket there?

I have had water get in the clutch area a couple times because of it splashing in through the snorkle in the front left area. I made a deflector to help give it some splash protection. I will also look at my cover area when I get home of this road trip just to check mine. I have a 2003 Trailboss. hope this helps.

Well looking at it they do not show anything for that hole

If you look at were 21 is it is the bigger hole down from that...it doesnt make sence why it would be there with no bracket.......
