Default Does this hurt my ATV???

I have an 04 Polaris Trailblazer 250 Limited and in the woods I tend to "gun" my ATV. I have been told by a few people that this is not good for it... I understand my limits as far as inner components wearing a little quicker. Also, I do not have time to get to top speed (if that makes any difference). But is this true????

Buy gun do you mean accelerate rapidly?

If so, is there another way to move?

Yes, accelerate rapidly. The only reason I was asking is that I like to go fast. And if I have to stop accelerating fast to add time to my atv I will.

If you don't care about top speed, you could gear in down a little for better accel. As far as exhaust, a 2 stroke is going to sound like a 2 stroke, but there are some good pipes out there.

you pretty much cant hurt this bike unless you run it out of oil or run it w/out an air filter. ride it anyway you like.
