Is there a place that you can buy just the caps that press onto the universal joints. My prop shaft broke but the u- joints are still nice and tight. In the parts list it shows that you have to buy u- joints and caps as one unit, in the service manual they tell you to replace the caps with new caps when taking the u- joint apart.

 

ive never heard of just buying the caps on any univesal joint. that would be weird though. worse case take them to a parts store and try to match them up w/ a car if they do sell just the caps.

 

Maybe I miss read the Service Manual I don't believe I did. I will look again. It's not that big of an expense I think $25 for the set of u -joints, but if you could buy just the caps what could that be a few $$$. thanks for the response.
