Like everyone has said and they are right on. I started out with a DG pipe on my 250 and it was total junk. You cant tune the clutch to the pipe because there is not much of a powerband with this pipe. Any pipe you get the clutch has to be tuned to the pipe to shift out with the powerband. Dyno results have proven that DG will lose about 5% hp and they have no specs to go by for clutch tuning. They are very loud and look cool. When it comes to DG we know what we are talking about. Go with HPD, Ritter or AAEN and you will never have to worry about tuning the clutch because tehy all have specs on what to use with the pipe. DOnt look for the cheap way out. The dealer gets these pipes REALLY cheap so they can pass it on to you but they have no clue what they are talking about when it comes to performance if they recommend DG. You can look anywhere on the polaris forum and see that nothing good to say about DG. Its not that DG is a bad company its just not good for Polaris 2 strokes.

Also I dont know how the dealer can recommend a spring and jet because dg does not hav erecommendations for this pipe. They say you dont have to rejet for this pipe. If thats the case then right there you know its crap because any time you change a pipe you have to rejet.

This is off the subject but, is DG junk for any two stroke? I had a full system on my Blaster years ago and it seemed like it actually slowed it down. Maybe I didn't have it jetted right..I don't know, I was young and stupid. Just a question.

On any thing BUT a Polaris 2stroke the DG is a good pipe.Even on the Polaris 500s they are good.
I had one on a Blaster too and it was ok a little loud but performed good.

I agree with everyone on the DG is no good for Polaris. My dealer actually was going to GIVE me the used one he had and wished me luck in making it work. It was returned for all the reasons quoted above.
I went with HPD on both my 250 and 400.
