spyey, ive been talking to cob and his mentor cajun. there both good guys and fairly knowledgable on the h/c. i do have 27" xtr's which messure taller and the stock set up doesnt work. ive tried muliple set up combo's and dont fel like its much better over the stock set up w/ out buying a ton more springs to do more tuning. im sure some feel w/ stock tires they feel a differnce. but the biggest thing im finding is that im over reving the engine on top rpm's and once you go past say 6200 your on the back side of the power and start to loose power. i was also told that this kit for the 800's are really only really good from 0 to 10 mph. this to me isnt exceptable for the price im paying. but there aagain this is only my own feeling and experince and not in anyway downing this kit for others. im going to put this on my sportsman 450 and see what kind of results i get, of course were geting about 10" of fu... snow right now so im not able to do any work.

sorry to hear about your luck on the 800 .. i hope that you have better luck on the 450.. i was told the heelclicker realy shines on the big bore bikes.. when i installed mine i noticed a difference before i was even out of the driveway.. i had to do a little playing around but nothing nerve racking.. i notice a HUGE difference on low , but i do alot of heavy pulling around the yard... BEST OF LUCK TO STENDORI..are ya gona try the dalton ?

HC DISAPPOINTMENT????? I DONT THINK SO!!!!! I just put one in my 800 last nite foloowing the directions but using the stock blue spring and now when I nail the throttle, it stands right up.......in high gear. Im afraid to stay in it yet though.......still have to get used to it. It is the best bang for the buck I've made.

so i guess that makes all my testing moot then huh. i dont see any bigger tires on yours. try to remeber every machine is differnt and some have differnt results. even cob and his buddies will tell you that. im glad it works for you. hopefully your running to high in the rpm range "wot" so it will loose power.

Stendori, in no way was I trying to tell you anything you said or did was moot. I was just stating how much of a difference it made in my machine and how pleased I am with the product.......so far. I didnt mean to make you mad, I respect your opinions and enjoy you informative posts. BTW what does "hopefully your running to high in the rpm range "wot" so it will loose power." mean?
