Default new polaris winch

i just came back from the dealer to buy some parts and took a real good look at those new china winches.just like alot of other brands have done is tried to copy the warn design. looks like the motor is a little bigger(more power) but it looks cheap. i felt the clutch swithc and it really feels like it is not very wear friendly. maybe its just me but it was a bad move on polaris part to go away from the warn modles. just my opinion.

Are you talking about the black wrinkle finished ones? I've seen them awhile back, but didn't caress it to notice a cheapness about it!

It looked tough, but apperantly, you're not impressed? I didn't realize it wasn't Warn. I was too busy trying to work a deal for my buddy and his 800 X2

My first one done took a crap on me already, dealer replaced it. Motor would turn but not the drum. Think I will stick with warn next time.

Hey, I believe you, if you say it looks like junk, I'll jump on the wagon. I haven't looked at one closely. I just touched it quickly to feel the wrinkle crap on it! I wonder Iif they are gonna drop the atv pricing to reflect the cheaper winch. I bet not. Oh,...I just thought of something, my buddy just got an 800 X2, I bet he has that winch. Only time will tell, if it is junk!
