Would low compression be causing the fuel to go back into the airbox while running? Check out the third post from the bottom in this thread (I know it is a Suzuki, but I'm having the same problem): http://forums.atvconnection.com/mess...carb%20problem I am just concerned about the fuel in the airbox.

That's pretty much how I feel lol! also forgot to mention that I could not find the crankcase drain (or really even the crankcase for that matter).

Its on the bottom of the engine case. You will probably have to remove the
plastic slid plate to see it. If there is any gas in the crank case I can guarantee you
that it will not start.

Do you have insurance out on it? (evil thoughts involving a lighter) Seriously thats exactly what my TB did when the top end finally gave up. It started and ran fine for awhile, but once you shut it off it wouldn't start. Eventually it did a few times but then it finally wouldn't start at all. I was lucky enough to get mine back to the trailer after about 2 hours of messing with it. I hate to tell you this but I bet your top end is fried. How many times have you traversed this killer hill with the TB? It probably did the top end in finally working that hard. Did yours start dying alot at idle shortly before this? Brian

Sorry for your problems, man. If you don't know anyone in the area to help you, google "atv clubs massachusetts". See if there is a club in your area, contact them to see if they could help at least to get it back home. I know cars and trucks, could guess at most 4 stroke problems, but 2 smokes are a little different creatures. LOL

This was the third time I had gone down this hill. The l;ast time was about a month ago. I just made sure that I went really slow and careful back up it. It never died while idling, but it had died a few times that night putting it into reverse if i did not get on the gas fast enough.
