Default 800 EFI Service Manual

I own an '06 800 and I have the opportunity to get the '07 service manual at a pretty good price compared to the dealer. Do the 07's differ in any significant mechanical fuction that this manual would mislead me in any service procedure?

I can email you a digital version of the service manual for your bike if you want...

It is the same bike except for perhaps the ADC. The manuals arent that specific anyway. The one I have for 05-06 700-800 efi's makes several references to the carb!!!'

If you have a 3 hole punch and a cheap book binder you can make your own. I just print the pages I need as I need em and throw them away when finished......

if your digital version has the same content then i'd love for you to email it to me. it'd be pretty interesting for some poor guy to spend all day looking for the carb on his efi, strange why that'd be in there on a 700/800 specific manual. just for my info, do these manuals that you get from the dealers actually outline "procedures" for a service or do they just list part numbers and part names.

i would be surprised if the 700/800 efi manual would cover a carb modle. the book would be a good useful tool. some day i may actually get one.

It does'nt cover the carb specifically but here and there states "check carb" adjust carb and stuff like that. It is PURE POLARIS SERVICE MANUAL part #9919820!!! Still surprised? lol

Well let me tell you ..........I got a Polaris Promo DVD in the mail and did the shootout head to head with other brands.........And they listed the 2006 Sportsman 450 as E.F.I. That's why Polaris beat out the rest in it's CLASS!!!!!...LOL...LOL......Caper.............

Thanks for the email Don, I appreciate that. It looks to be more of an owners manual than a shop service manual. Does anyone know if there is a service manual that goes into the less routine maintenence such as brakes, suspension part replacement ect..? I'm sure the dealerships have something kept in the shops for torque specs, efi diagnostics and things of that nature.
