Default '06 Scrambler rear brake problem

I have an '06 Scrambler. Everything worked great last year, but I parked it in the garage for the winter and when I got it out this weekend, the rear brake pedal doesn't have any pressure. The hand brake works great. I tried bleeding the rear brakes and got a little fluid to come out. When I bleed the rear brakes using the hand brake, it actually shoots fluid out. What could have happened just sitting in the garage? Any help is greatly appreciated.

welcome to the forum. basicly the rear braks on the polaris suck and are pretty useless after a short while. same thing happened to mine and i dont want to have to keep bleeding it or lay a brick onit to hold pressure on it overnight but you could try it to see if it will come back.

I had the same problem until I bled the heck out of them(basicly changed all the fluid) the problem is that any air in the line stays at the highest point where the frame and swing-arm meet. My rear brakes have been good for over a year now.

If you just gotta have the rear pedle working bleed the crap out of them and leave the cap off while you bleed them.
