Default tug of war

yep, my lil 400 sportsman against an arctic cat 650 v2. I thought he would pull me all over the place but i guess those mud lites saves my @$$. We did nothing but dig holes and not go anywhere. his quad was completely stock so i think if he had better tires he would have had me. after we were done i noticed that my hitch was all bent to h3ll

Keep in mind the V2 will do 55mph in low. Whats that Popo 400 do?

I love my V2 but it isn't a stump puller, its a hi perf trail machine.

well if MY calculations are correct - if you can do 55mph in low - you should be able to pull off 229 mph in high

I would NOT want to get on that quad

I'm very curious what numbers your calculations are based on considering that there is no standard hi/low gearing. V2's go about 55 in low and 65in high. Yeh, it's way different than most machines but like I said, it is a trail machine so it isn't really low range, more like trail range. In 06 they made the low range a little lower, but they still probably do 35-40. V2's traditionally do crappy in pulling contests because of their high gearing.
