Hey Perky. I'm not familiar with the Wes box seats, but I had a big Kimpex one on the back of my 05 700. You are right, those U-bolts that come with them suck and will eventually break your rack. The best way to mount it, as I did with mine, was to use the lock and ride anchors from polaris that fit into the 1" holes in the rear rack. I just transferred the hole locations to the bottom of the seat, then drilled the small holes through the bottom and installed the anchors. If you haven't seen them, the anchors are like a rubber expansion thing that grips the inside of the hole in the rack when you flip the lever down. They work slick but are a little expensive. Like 25 bucks apiece, I think. The good thing about em is that once you have them installed on your seat, it takes literally 10 seconds to mount or remove the seat from the rack.

I have a big wes box seat as well. I used the u bolts and it seams fine but it has only been on a month or so. DO you guys have a part number or pictures and place to buy the anchors? The only thing I dislike is it takes too much messing around with the u bolts to remove the seat.
