Confused with all of Sportsman's different fluids.
I,m going to change all the fluids in my SP500, I need a hub fluid, front diff fluid and a tranny fluid. Thats all of them right?
I bought to much of this expensive "Shell Advance 100% synthetic chain case oil" for my snowmobile can I use this in the tranny and how much does the tranny take?

Confused with all of Sportsman's different fluids.
Front hub = Type F Transmission Fluid, Fill at the 4 or 8 position until fluid runs out....Approx. 2 oz in each hub
Front Gearcase = 75-90w gear oil, 4.0 oz, no need to use Polaris brand
Tranny = Use the Polaris brand only....At change, approximately 20 oz.
PN 2871477 (Gallon) PN 2871478 (12o.)
Oil = Mobil1 0w-40 synthetic, no need to get Polaris brand, 2 qt.
Gear Case selectory 0W-40 synthetic
Coolant - I recommend using Polaris brand only, PN 2871323,
Brake Fluid - Dot 3
Hope this helps.
