Yo Led,
It's in the catalog, just not as easy to find as last years were. They're on page 74 next to all of the decal kits and windshields. In the lower right by the handgrips, you'll see a pic of a brown Xped.325 with the mud skirts on it.

Yes, shift on the fly would be better. How about a hi/lo switch kind of like the 4wd? I was just making suggestions that in my opinion, would be fairly easy & inexpensive to do. Honestly, how much R&D expense would it take to add a 3rd position to the light switch. I also figured the 3 range transmission was something they could do tomorrow, using techknology they have, without undue expense.

If money was no object, I would go with a carbon-fiber frame, axles & such, titanium (or magnesium) gear cases & engine block, a 700cc twin, all of which should weigh under 550#. If they came up with a Sportsman like that, I could live with shifting manually from Hi to Lo & even re-wire the lights if I wanted to.

In the 2001 catalog, they list both yellow and silver body plastic for the scramblers, but I have seen no photos of either. Are there any photos either on the web or in Polaris' printed catalog?

thanks offrder15

i found it now, but the price they charge seems like alot. it would be $170 for the set of four for my sp500. that seems like alot of money for 4 strips of plastic.

i wish there was a discount polaris accessories place u could order from. the price that polars charges for there accesroies seems outragous for what they are, just to have the name "polaris" on it.

My suggestion for improvement would be in the design of the rear suspension in their sport/trail machines. Polaris makes a good riding quad for a utility machine but it does not have anything on the prolink Honda uses on the 400ex. The shock and swingarm is a respectable system if the bike is going to be used for hauling a load. But it sorely lacks when riding at much speed on a rough terrain.
