What do you guys think Polaris should improve/add/upgrade for their 2002 line up?

Magnum HO?
Magnum 335? (9 more cc's to make it a little faster than a golf cart?)

Just wonderin. (Im bored right now cause I can't go ridin! I'm positive you all know how it feels!)

I think they should make the explorers and trail bosses shaft driven. Also maybe a high/low gear range for all of their quads, and a bigger carb might help the 325 engines 31 mm seems a little small.

Reduce the weight on the sport models, along with the small bore utility models. I think the weight of the big bore utility models is fine.

Put the Sportsman on a diet and loose 100 lb. This mod would improve steering effort and acceleration too.

I could write a book/wish list for Polaris for Christmas day. But mainly considering my 2000 SP and comments I have for it are,
1. Fuel gauge on gas cap, or wherever
2. Easier access to oil reservoir and coolant bottle.
3. Beefier cv joints in the front steering suspension.
4. Re-engineer the front bumper/rack mounting bolts
5. A tunable clutch, so I don't have to keep shopping around for another modified one.
6. Please let there be a twin on the Sportsman, us power hungry riders need our fix.

Merry Christmas fellow riders, and let it be a safe and happy one.

Oh yea another thing would be the ability to turn on all 3 lights on the Sportsmans and the Magnum 500.

Since the Scrambler is truely more of a TRAIL BIKE, then I think a low range on the tranny wouldn't hurt too much.

If they don't, check out Woodsmans posts from a ways back, he solved that one. If not, just buy yourself a set of off road lights and light up the woods!
