I used the Federal Mogul #510013 (cross ref FW143) sealed bearings made in the USA with a lifetime warranty form Murray's auto parts for $21.99 each
(2 required total). Most auto stores will price match. They are available on eBay for $29 +S&H.

Here is a picture of the old bearings, changed with about 2500 miles on the machine, they were in better shape than i thought they would be.

I just paid the dealer the std $63. Wish I new this about matching up to different bearings at the auto parts store or better yet a Wis Bearing outfit. I have told the Polaris bearings are cheap made maybe or maybe not compared to any after market. But as you say if your muddin expect to pay for your fun. I had 3200 miles. I notice mind when I did the brake pad checks an notice the excess play in and out.

I should have known better than say what I stated above. Of course they're sealed and in addition their made in china as you say stendori. I saved one bearing set without destroying it and next time take it to Wisconsin Bearing and they can measure it and match it for a replacement for a lot less money than the one from Polaris.

yes most are sealed (dust). you can just lube the zerks you have.
Grease and Go on a short ride (1 min) after pressure washing to displace moisture in the suspention and distruibute grease.
You can also use a grease pin fitting to lube, if you want to take apart the hub from time to time or while doing other maintanence...

that would a real pain to do everytime you went riding in the mud. i just dont see anyway of drilling a grease fitting into the hub/bearing unless you knew actually how far to drill into the bearing w/out damaging it.
