hey jester i know what ur saying just run this tb into the ground cause they will stand up to a beating from hell i know i have dun so much stuff that a 4x4 couldnt do and mines stock execpt for bigger sprocks and i can beat mi moms p 360 with at least 2 quad langth U STATED that u want to beat a banshee THAT will never happen because they have so muc more power the tb yea the tbs are awsome bikes but u can only do so much to a tb and only get so much power and from the sounds of it u want to race if thats so go out and buy a high performac kit from rick and put it in and than ull be running with some of the 400s but other than that if u want more and bigger power BUY A BIGGER quad

What do u mean? Like i know my friend has utility 4x4 350 bruin, and when we go trail riding im right be hind me not getting stuck in anything! And im having x1000 more fun since its only 2x4


Like right now i was getting this stuff done:

Port and polish boerd carb


or


Reed conversion kit


Or

Boerd carb and just start on the visuals..



?? I was thinking if i could get the reed conversion kit for like a little less cuz i have some of the stuff already installed it would be better



But will it hurt it running threw the mudd and stuff like that?



Would a boerd carb and a port and polish get me to 350s and 400s?

well right now mi stock tb is runnin with mi moms p360 and i can still leave that behind but.....JUST ride it like it is and be happy that at the age of 13 u have a bike u can ride and that is a tough little quad yea i know the whole race thing sounds like alot of fun and trying to be able to beat the 350 and 400s with a 250 but u wait a few years and after u get all theses mods dun yea the p&p will help in power but if u wanted to dump all this money into it and than sell it cause u can get a good deal on a newer wheeler and u have say another 1500 bucks into it and u can only get 1000 out of it and than u have a tottal of 2500 into it included the bike and all the xtras ur out some cash so what im trying to say is STAY with what u have and just because ur not the fastest bike in the group dont mean that ur bike sucks it just mean that if the others are modded chances are they are less reliable than urs u mess with teh reliabilty factor when u do ALOT of modding so just stay with what u got man cause u dont want to be out by ur self and have ur bike brake down and than ur cell dont get servise and than u have to walk 15 miles back to get help and than dump more money into what u have to fix some times u have to look at the pros and cons of modding cons are that if u mod to much the reliabilty factor deminishes alot more than just havin a slightly modded bike teh slightly modded one is moe reliable than the xtreamly modded bike.......get what im saying????

Yea i gett what your saying and stuff like, thats what my dad was saying the other day..


Like if i had chose i would rather fix my quad up and leave it the way it is...but theres not much else u can do to it i guess...



Maybe ill just put the 60$ to bore the carb out since people says it will make my performance parts perform better and just ride till im done with it,



J/w as a goof what makes a 4x4 a 4x4? Like just the transmission right?

for a 4x4 theres a switch on most that u switch in which presses on a bunch of plates which engages a trans mission type deal that in return puts power to all for wheeles NOW if i got some thign rong let me know guys

where are you getting the money to pay for all this? no offence but your only 13, when i was 13 i couldnt have done this crap to my quad..

if u have up to a thousand bucks to burn then make a down payment on a new quad like some of the previous posters said.

i understand that you want a kickass trailblazer but it wont be long and u'll be 16 like i am and u'll want bigger and better..

i have the mods i want on my scrambler and i think it looks and runs pretty dang good for a scrambler but i'm ready to upgrade to a raptor 700..

reasons why, stronger frame, fuel injection, mucccccch lighter weight, more aftermarket, and 10 times more power then i'll ever need!

plus these things do break, i've cracked my frame in 3 spots jumping and i just got it welded up!

anways, i know it's extremely hard to save money and wait it out for a new quad because i've been in your position too but just picture yourself riding your TB for another 3 solid years..imagine the condition your quad will be in and think about if u really will want to be riding a TB250..

i'm not trying to steer you off from ur aftermarket because for like a year i wanted to clutch my scrambler and i never did..i think in the end i just had fun riding the thing and half the guys i see on 450's and big bore sport quads i can beat anyways because i'm a better rider then they are and the only advantage they have is being able to outrun me in a straight line!

Ehh nvm prob could not put a scrammy 4x4 tranny on my bike and make it 4x4 now could i? lol

Get a 34mm carb from e-bay or somewhere they are off the 400 scramblers. You have to get the piton with the reedcage or send them yours. They have to machine some ports in the piston. You need to have pegs to stand on unless you get the nerfs with the pegs built on them. Did you look at my pics there are some in there showing the pegs an nerfs. It is at the yahoo photo address at the end of my sig on the bottom

pretty much all the 4x4 is a front end transmition pretty much i have been right in ur spot want a kicks *** tb to like xtream said I WANT a spmen for the 4x4 and the lower range power so i can have power to pull deer out of hte woods with out doin a wheelie up a hill now as for making the tb a 4x4 ud have to have an out put shaft that goes out of the front of hte motor and than into the diff.,,.... to much work to do it tho

Dude i just transfered over 500$ into my bank account from my paypal account, believe me i know how to get money, thats not the problem.. Also i will never get another quad that is not yamaha, im sorry people talk sh-t about them but there beasts, i can go any where my friends go with his utility, i may get more mud on me but its funner that way... Polaris quads are just soo comfortable and stuff, i had a scrammy 90 and went to the TB250, i really dont want to spend 500$ on the quad, but i want to do a couple things to or something like bored carb or new carb... But i also wanna make it look good, see i dont race much more trail riding and stuff and mudding and i like to ride in the winter... Like if you look at my quad it looks pretty good for an 01 but could be better, i put it on ebay for 1500 but no bids, soo i decided to keep it for a long while..
