Had a friend, years ago when the TV show was on that sold an old charger. He got an call from someone that said he search the country for them for the show. He said that they average totalling 3 cars a show. So they went thru a lot of old Chargers. So I would imagion there are lots of them out there.

I head that when the show was still on, that the crew would go through parking lots looking for Chargers to buy. they would leave a note with a high offer for them.

The auction was legit, it was the bidder that flaked out.

By the way, it was a charity auction, so the winner is getting a big fat deduction receipt.

dont get confused about winning a charity auction - the winner doesnt get the deduction, the person who donated the item up for auction gets the deduction.

no he doesnt get the deduction until he officially makes the sale transfer - he has to give the money away to get the deduction
