Default 2000 Scrammy front hub.

Hey gang...

Friend has a 2000 Scrammy. She has about 5000 miles on it.. Said the 4x4 is pulling to the right..

Asked her when she changed the front hub fluid. She replied "What fluid"...

I showed her where to drain and fill it.. She drained out 1oz of brown sludgy fluid, her clymber manual stated to put in 2.5oz..

SOmeone who has a scrammy factory manual could you verify this? Id think it would be more than 2 oz... The Sportsmans take 5 oz in the front pumpkin.

SHe put back in 2 oz and said it ran better but still pulled a bit.. Told her to repeat the filling after riding it for a bit..

She put in 2.5 oz of Premium Demand Drive Hub Fluid PN-2871654

On the scrammy wheels, there is a hub cap there also. Is that a cap for hte grease fittings? ITs a cap with 3 or 4 screws..

Thanks...

If I remember correctly, fill the hub untill it pours out the hole at the 3 o'clock position. And the cap has an o-ring on it to seal the oil in the hub.
