BIG FOOT KITS???
Hey everybody! I am looking into getting some 27" ITP Mudlite XTR's on some 14" wheels and was wondering if anyone knew of a good, CHEAP place to get a set and also, if there was anythng extra that I would need to do. Maybe a lift kit or anything like that. Also, I am debating a lift kit but have heard some stuff about adding extra stress on the cv joints. Any ideas and thoughts would be GREATLY appreciated.

BIG FOOT KITS???
Those are the exact wheels and tires that I'm going to put on my new 700 grizzly. The service tech says it will handle the added stress with no problems. I havent got a price yet but past wheels and tire kit have always been the lowest price from these guys and they were at my door in 3 days. call matthew for aprice. I have several people on the site who did just that and came back and said I was correct.

Got the 27" XTRs on 14" ss wheels on my sp 800. Check out my pics and see what you think. They don't hit or rub and handle very well. One thing I did do was take them to a tire dealership and get them balenced. After that and running the recomended 7psi I had a fast atv with mud tires. I personally like 8psi in mine.

to me, the bad thing about running alot of psi is that they where the center alot faster on hard pack and dont have the same kind of grip they would on the rough trails and rocks. less pressure they tend to mold to the ground more. i put mine at 7 psi when i run hard pack and back down to 5spi on bad trails and mud.

NICE PICS GUYS!!! I'll try to get some more recent pics up on mine when I get the chance. Thanks a bunch for the info. I want to mount some 27" XTR's on some black 14" SS108's. I think that would look nice with the black on black setup. However, I was wondering about clearance and rubbing and all of that stuff. Then again, I've been thinking about putting a small lift on it but heard about CV joints going bad so I was wondering if anyone has had any issues or good feedback. Also, does anyone know about aftermarket mufflers and having tune the engine to compensate? Thanks for the feedback!!!

Talk about Pitcures.....Those two of yours are a real eye opener!!! My kodiak was totaled last week but it didnt look nearly as bad as yours. What are you going to put these tires on? I just got an 700 grizz and I'm putting just what you are. There already at the dealer and I whinned alot about all the money I've spent there and they said I can have them for $750. What kinda of price are you coming up with? They tell me I'll be fine without a lift with this set up. No rubbing and the cv will handle it. I should get that in writting.

I'm putting them on a Sportsman 800 EFI (the one in the pics). My sister's husband was the service manager where I bought it so he made sure everything was good to go. So after a new frame and front left end, she rides like new. In hind sight, I probably should have totalled it out and got a new one, but I'm kind of partial to the beast. I'm looking around for pricing and think I can get that package for right at $750 as well. We'll see though...

I just posted a picture of mine. It's the last one on the page, might be ahour before it's approved.
What the heck did you hit and how did you surive that? My frame was also bent, I had the choice to take the insurance money or rebuild. Then i got a wild thought and came home with a new grizzly. They wife said they sure did a fast job fixing it! All was cool till my daughter saw it and let the cat out of the bag.
