Default Would love to know what it is.....

We bought a Polaris 4 wheeler at an auction, in non running condition. We have no clue what it is, but we think that its a 93 Trail Boss. How can we find out for sure. I have found the stamp on the frame and the numbers begin with 93, but there is no writing on the body parts that say what the thing is.

Also, we have a bit of a dilemma, apparently the guys kid messed with the connections for the wiring that are on the front by the steering and we cannot get spark. We have replaced the CDI, the Coil pack and also the battery. We tested the stator and it seems to be good. We think that he must not have plugged the connections back into the right spots on the board. See image below. Does anyone have a book for the 93? I would like to find the wiring diagram for that board if possible.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the quick reply. I just found a place that had the model numbers listed by make and year, so it is definitly a 93 Trail Boss 250.

Not sure about the kill switch, but the key switch turns over the motor, so I don't think that is the issue. Can you tell me how to test the kill switch, or bypass it for testing for fire?

Thanks again.

chances are if the engine is turning over w/ the elec. starter then its probably good as well. isnt that wire pic. just a junction box to hook the wires to or is there marking such as what wires go where being laboled on the junction box. if it was you could trace the wires back to what they go to and put them on the correct spade connector. just an idear.

Ok, the board that the wires are hooked to are labeled by color, and it seems that all the connectors are in the proper place on the board. I am going to have my son test the kill switch, when he gets home here shortly. I'll post what we find. Thanks so much for the quick response!
