Default HELP!!! Need to know fluid levels...

I just put a total maintenance kit into my '05 Sportsman 800 EFI and the service manual as well as the owner's manual is giving conflicting info. I think I'm OK on the tranny and front gear case but the Rear Gear Case levels are throwing me for a loop. The manuals say that the capacity is 5 oz. and it also says to fill it to the bottom of the fill hole threads. Well, I put the whole 8 oz. bottle in it and it still isn't to the bottom of the threads. I've called numerous dealers and they are all giving me conflicting info. PLEASE HELP!!! LOL!!!

If it has a fill hole that also doubles as the check hole, then fill it until it is at the check hole.
