The sportsman 450 are great machines, But they are not the standard for every one, The Hawkeye is a fine Machine that is just as capable as a sportsman except in top speeds, This old myth of Bigger is better just isnt true, Some people think bigger is better, The Hawkeye does great work for us and Plays just as Much everywhere we take it, I dont see where the prices are close as they are 1400.00 to 2000.00 difference between the two machines, iI dont call that close, But then we Live in the United States, But the Hawkeye is fine for Anyone seeking a Good Polaris machine

Oh I agree with you Caper. I am just using a bit of psychology with my wife. She sees the smaller Hawkeye as less intimidating.
