All I know is at 65 on an ATV the damm wind just about pulls you off the seat with no windshild. Thats why if I want the wind in my hair over 60 I'll jump on my bike.

Befor the big tires I hit the mid 60's a few times on my 700.Now with 27inch mudlites I would be lucky to hit the mid 40's.Big ties are nice but talk about a speed kill.

bill, just remeber that the bigger tire size also throws off the speedo and dont give you true speed any more.

on my 06 sp800 i can hit about 56 in the dirt and 59 on assfault (measured by gps )im 6 ft 2 and weigh in at 250 on my 07 sp800 i havent clocked by gps yet but im pretty sure its a bit faster (prolly because of the smaller wheels) it said about 66 on speedo but gps is more accurate i think (and that was on assfault)

I know it's not an 800 but I've hit 60 bouncing off the limiter on my 500 going downhill. On the flat 0-50mph is pretty quick, then it hits a barrier, from 50-55 takes a little bit, but on the flat there's no way no how of breaking 55 / 56mph on mine ..
