That's great Stendori, I hadn't installed mine yet, was considering doing
it tomorrow before some family cook outs start. I take it from the PIC
you opted for installing the switch part on your handlebars Vs. on
the POD casing? (Okay okay, I know, HERE'S YOUR SIGN!)
Since you have exp. with cutting into the plastics w/your Gauge,
would do you recommend as for as the correct type of tool
to do this? Dremmel, just a good knife?
Regards,
R'

well R' your number 4,000 post for me. wow i have a big mouth lol,(so ive been told) but heres my anwser. i used a dremel w/ a few attachments and i beleave a knife. i actually used the cardboard cut out that the gage came in as the guild so as i wouldnt cut out too big of the hole and it fit nice and tight and then put clear silcone to seal it up. i ididnt want to cut any more holes in the pod as i can just take this off when i get rid of the bike where i cant the mounted gage. caper, i got the premounted hosuing from them and sent my cover to them for a core charge back. i have the right tap to do it but i was lazy and figured my time was more important then the extra money i guess.(dont know why i thought that lol) anyways the whole bypass is done right on the handle bar and didnt have to go into the pod to do the wiring. it only cost me $7.00 for the toggle switch and had the connectors and i cheaply made the handle bar bracket. but i know this is going to work great in the mud when i ever go riding again.
