04 SP700 took a little tumble this weekend. Broke out the speedo lens. No other damage to the speedo or the ATV. All the functions on the speedo work fine.

Is there any way to just replace the lens? It appears to be glued in. Hate to buy a $225 speedo just for a $5 lens.

If I do have to buy the whole speedo will I lose my hours and milage or is the pod just a display and the numbers stored elsewhere in a computer?

My buddy wrecked his 05 800 spt including the speedo lens. We could not find a replacement lens by itself. You might check with ridgerunner (ridgerunner.biz) as they have misc spt parts at a great price. We did not know about them at the time. As to your question re miles. Unfortunately the speedo keeps the miles. If the old speedo will show the miles you can keep it to get a true mileage after you replace it, if you have to. Good luck.
