Default Mud Bug tires on 700EFI?

I like the looks of the Maxxis Mud Bug 27" tires. I want to put a 27x9x12 on the front and a 27x11x12 on the back. Will this setup work with the stock suspension and has anyone used this tire and how did it perform?
Thanks!

i know a guy who had them on a cat, and the guy i went w/ sat. had them on a suz k.quad and they do well in the mud. the only bad thing about them is there soft compound and will were down fast if you ride on alot of hard pack and rds.

w/ 27" on, you shouldnt have any problems except for the front 9" may rub on the strut.

I run 27/9/14 Mudlite XTR's on my 2005 SP700 with no issues of rubbing. Not sure if this condition is different with the 12" rims however.

I run the same tire size that you are looking at on my sp700 with 12" rims. I run Swamplites and have no rubbing and plenty of clearance.

if your going to use stock rims try them on first and see if they rub or have no clearance and go from there. if they do rub then you have to add the spacers. i just bought the wheel big foot kit so i didint have to worry about that.

I've ran the Mud Bugs on a Yamaha.

I wish I'd have know they ran small for the size stated before I bought them. They pull great in the mud but, I took them off after a few months because I wanted a larger tire.

They ride fine on hard surfaces and pull well.

If you buy the 27s they'll be the size of some other brands 26s. Not that big of a deal but, they should make them the size stated like Interco.

Good Luck
