K&N Air Filter Question
Dealer was pulling somebody's leg real bad. Your friend must be 3" taller at least.
Just got back from a several days running in very dusty conditions. Can't say I was impressed with the paper filter. Seemed to be dirty on the inside as well. One thing about the K&N, the oil part does give more trapping power. Have never see this much fine dust in the Sportsman units. Of course the air intake is higher and in front of the rider. The back of our coats were covered with dust. Room for improvement on the air intake location on the RZR. Should be a good after market item needed on this one. Need a flat tube to connect to the air intake and go up on the roll cage, above the drivers heads.
It seemed the black outer wear in the RZR stopped nothing. It was clean, the paper filter was loaded. The SP units (700&800) has a white outwear that stops the fine stuff and helps keep the filter cleaner.
