Put a slice in one of my tires the first day I got the 00 Trail Boss. Slime wouldn't keep air in in. Finally put a plug in it. That was about 6 years ago.

I probably could use a new set of tires now, but it's still holding.

 

I've had two plugs in my rear tire for 2 summers. No issues at all. Plus the dealer put them in for nothing.

 

I plug my tires but the slime seals up pretty good leaks if you have enough in your tires.
