The newest one that I have heard of is FTR. They make pipes and clutch kits for the TrailBlazer, along with other accessories.

Stick with HPD, they've been making performance parts for Polaris for years.

www.hotseatperformance.com, www.hpd-inc.com, or www.rittercycle.com would be your best bets. I haven't heard anything good about ftrperformance.

I've heard FTR's pipe is better because it puts out as much as the HPD pipe, but doesn't have the leg heat. So I personally would rather not feel the heat on a hot summer day.

My buddy has the HPD on his 2000 TrailBlazer. There is no more heat than the stock pipe. You could ride it with shorts on if you were so inclined. In my opinion, as well as many others on the forum, HPD is a notch or two above anything else offered out there when it comes to aftermarket performance parts.

I have heard of people complaining about the HPD pipe frying their leg, so then they put the FTR on and it solved the problem and didn't change in performance. I guess you hear more about HPD because they have been around for a few years, while FTR has been around for about 1.5 to 2 years(guessing). In a while I will be taking mine to FTR to have the Pipe/Clutch kit put on(it's just a few minutes away from my house) and I'll tell you what I think.

First thing you want to do to a Polais is a cluth kit. Best improvement you can do is Lighter Clutch weights. then normal engine mods like other quads..

1987 Polaris Cyclone...Fully bored and stroked weisco motor, Tremlar Clutch kit, Titan Tires, Racing special sprockets, Pipes and dyno carb..
