Dipstick???

Can someone tell me what fluid this dipstick is measuring, PLEASE? It is off a 1999 Polaris 400 Scrambler 4x4 2-stroke. It is approximately located below the carburetor. Someone please help me. Thanks!

that dipstick measures the counter balance oil.

Can the fluid be drained and replaced? What kind of oil do you put in there?

it has 10W 30 regular motor oil and there is a drain on the bottom of the engine but it only hods a few ounces.
