I lost 36 pounds
#1
In my quest for more speed on the drag machine, I decided to change wheels and tires. On the front, I removed 22x7x10 tires and steel wheels. On the rear, removed 22x11x10 tires and steel wheels. On the front I put 20x6x10 Maxxis razor mx's on Douglas .125 10x5 aluminum wheels. On the rear 18x9x8 Titan turf tamers, on Douglas .190 8x8 aluminum wheels. A total of 25 pounds in the rear, and 11 pounds in the front. This also lowered the machine with the shorter tires. Looks really cool too. Doc

Doc, doesn't that also lower the top speed your quad will go? The revolutions are limited at some point and with smaller tires you travel less distance than with a greater diameter tire. Or, is it strictly for short drags?
