Default Engine Swap

I was wondering if anyone knew if the engine swap i need to do would work. I will be removing the engine from a 1988 polaris trailboss and putting it on a 2000 polaris trailblazer they are both 250cc 2 stroke engine just the 88 is bored out and a lot faster and the 2000 is....dead. Would these 2 match up?

Will it work? Probably. For about $150.00 you can rebuild the topend on your 2000. If that is what's wrong, and save yourself alot of work. Doc

it has a lot wrong with it the electric start went out the brakes went out the air filter fell off and dirt got sucked in2 it and it started like trying 2 cut off and then it just died and never started again plus this other engine is bored out completely and has a new carb and an electric start comes with it also so it wuld be more worth it 2 just take the 88 off and put it on the 2000 frame as long as it fits
