Default elka shocks plus 27 mudlite XTRs on o7 800x2 '

hi. i like my 07 800 x2 dlx.alot (so far) but i think it needs better suspension to really be as comfortable a ride as i would like ( sometimes while decending ledges or really steep stuff it feels like the bike is gonna wad up at the bottom of decent instead of leveling off and continuing forward motion. i was wondering if anyone has a sugestion as to aftermarket tires and shock setup that would work well on this bike..from just looking at aftermarket sites i was kinda thinking maybe elka shocks and mudlite xtrs might be the ticket..any input guys?..thxs!...0 yeah what i am really concerned about is that i dont add any kind of mod thats going to decrease relialabilty. id rather stay stock than start having problems with crazy add on stuff

I personally added a set of EPI heavy duty front springs to my bike and it helped out a LOT. The sag in the front end is gone, and it feels way more stable. I also have a set of XTRs and I love them. Great in the mud, as well as rocks, trails and pavement. Personally I think they are a great all around tire. I'm sure others will have some suggestions, but theres my .02

if your refering to the front end seems to nose drive alot its because the springs are too soft as scrammy said. i fixed that problem by adding a 1 1/2" spacer and no more nose dive and rides just as good. i also have the xtr set up(see pics.) and really like them way better then stock. just remeber if you go wider tires in front you may need after market rims or wheel spacers. just .02
