Default 28+ tires on a 700 mv

Well i want to put the biggest tires possible on my MV.It is for ground clearance...I am curently working on a lift...The rear is almost done.I cut the shocks brackets on the lower A arms and welded a longer set.I also made longer sway bars.It is good for about 2" more ground clearance.tomorow im going to attack the front end...

So do you guys think i can fit 30" mudlite in there?I will run spacers or offset rims if needed.Im not sure if 30" would clear the fenders?

I know 28"s will fit on ITP wheels with a little lift. What did you use for swaybar extensions? I used a set of links off a 99 Ford Ranger and they worked awesome with my 2" lift. You'll have to post pictures when you get it all buttoned up!!

I made them with a piece of 3/4 steel pipe and i welded 2 3/8" nuts on each ends..seems to work good so far.The stocker are aluminum so i think it will be strong enought.I had to make it 1 5/8" longer than the stock.

I will post pics of the rear setup tomorow.

i think instrigater ran 28" on his 700 mv when he had it. he aslo had cv problems w/ a big lift in there as well. i think you would need at least a 4" lift w/ 30" tires. i know on the h/l forum those boys run those big tires for sure.

The Ranger links are 2"s longer than stock and are made out of a hard rubber with a steel bolt and nut. They work pretty good but whatever works is a good thing.

Very impressive, I never lengthened my sway links. I removed them all together. DO NOT do that on the heavy MV. Slight off camber hill climbs gave me a very unsettling flipping back/rolling over feeling! Hey I am jealous, you have your shocks on the lightest setting. Mine was on the stiffest and the 28" Zilla's still rubbed the steel rack sometimes!

I pretty much made my mind on the tires im going to get...Its either swamplites or mudlites.Im leaning toward the swamplites 29½x10x12 front and rear.

I worked on the front end this morning,Im going to put a 1 ½" spacers under the front shocks so it will raise the front by about 1 ½ and i made a set of steel spacers to put under the springs...they are 2 ¾" tall...So that way it will remove most of the front end sag.
