Okay I'm going to try and be unbiased, so here are my thoughts, My dad owns a 98 grizzly,my brother owns a 99 wolverine, and I own a 95 warrior my neighbour who I ride with alot owns a 2000 kodiak 4x4. Now for reliability I think the grizzly wins hands down ours has 4600km's on it of tough riding and it hasn't had anything break. And the wolverine we own has hardly any km's on it and breaks regularily (it has some electrical problems) and my warrior is a good trail wuad but needs more power. As for the kodiak it is awesome it has tons of power it has a 2wd/4wd switch,good handling and light weight, small size (unlike grizzly) and is liquid cooled I personally feel it is the best 4x4 machine and I'm trying to get my brother to sell the gutless wolverine and buy a kodiak that is how good they are.
so here are my opinions on certain categories for quads.

high performance-Raptor
4x4- Kodiak
sport-warrior
trail quad- Trail Blazer
entry level machine (for kids of of little machines)- I hate to say it buy a 250ex is the best.
kids machine- Lt 80 (I use to own one when I was little and it was a blast and it was tuff as nails)
