I was riding my 4 wheeler everthing was fine and the next thing I knew it wouldn't go anywhere it was like someone shifted it into neutral. Once it cooled down for a while it would take off again only to do it again after it warmed back up. Any ideas where to start looking? I took my cover off to look at the belts but they looked fine. Thanks

I would suggest driving with your clutch cover off. Obviously you need to do this very carefully so as to not have an loose apendages come into contact with the spinning clutch hubs! If you do this you can watch both your primary and secondary clutch hubs to see what is going on. It could be that your belt is improperly alligned and when it heats up it is starting to slip. If it is improperly alligned it is just a matter of time before it wears and breaks. I would doubt you are experiencing a transmission issue. As long as your tranny has the proper level of fluid in it, the symptoms don't seem to point to a tranny problem.
When you drive with the clutch cover off and it stops. Turn the engine off and put it in neutral. Can you turn the driven clutch by hand or is it tight?
