Polaris seats - Decal peeling
All -
Not sure why my 2006 Sportsman 450 seat's "POLARIS"
decals are peeling? I keep it covered, only wash with garden
hose, and mild soap when dirty and muddy? What seat
care products do you use?
Anyways has this happened to you? Should it be covered by
warrenty (stupid question), I still do have the extended
coverage, not really sure if I can just re-apply seat decals
or need new seat?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Naa Caper buddy, I am NOT the revenge
type. I'll just wait awhile for your future posts
on the same issue, LOL - Just joking, I hope
not!
You know actually I am 365 lbs, maybe it is
me or my jeans etc. But you know I noticed it
rubbing off when I last washed it. Maybe I rubbed
it too hard? Again I thought it was painted or dyed
into the seat material, didn't ever thing it was decaled?
Hey I appreciate all the posts, for kicks and grins I
will call my dealer maybe if my problem can help others
all the more good from it. I have never put any "Care
products on it" as of yet, maybe another mistake?

And no more SP 450(455cc)................Why did they down-grade the Sportsman line-up
All Sp should have the same frame if they want to call them Sportsman!!!......Just wondering what you think...Or even if you care!!...LOL..LOL.........................Caper... ......

Actually, I hate to admit it, but I feel the same as you and others do.
I am only human, and have been in my last year and half real excited
enthusiast over Polaris products, namely the Sportsman's ATV's. I do
wish they would of offered some bigger bore engines and new technologies
like the power steering into some models.
I may be selling my 450 soon to put that money down on an 700 X2 (2008)
or 800 X2 (2007, if still have my colors and available for a "real good price") or
maybe the new Touring 800 model (more pricy though). I don't know?
As for my wife's 450 we will keep it, plenty of power for her and I will
like to ride it when not lugging around a more heavy over-powered (not)
quad (more for the in-law trips). Yea on the "Pride issue", I don't exactly
like our quads being compared to the less powered Hawk-eye or now the
new 400 H.O. - I guess our Class machines and all the Scrammy fans got
slapped on the face this year?
