Go to a larger dealership that doesn't need to make a large profit on every trade in they resell. Worst case scenario, they'll take a little less of your new purchase than if you were not trading in anything. Keep in mind, the dealer has to front the amount of money for your new purchase they give you for your old trade until they can resell your old trade. Its easier for larger dealerships to front that money until they can get it back when they sell your trade to.
