Default 4x4 problem, just occurred, HELP!!!

hey all, i know this has been discussed but this slow computer doesn't allow me to search because it takes an hour to go page to page, but anyway:
my speedometer has NEVER worked, but the light and hour meter did work. now they quit working all the sudden too and the 4x4 will not work either, they AWD light won't even light up. i need my 4x4!!!
what do i need to check? please tell me it is something other than replacing the expensive speedo pod. i have a ride this coming weekend, please respond fast. thanks

Sounds like you need a speedo.

I seen a trick on one of the forums a long time ago telling how to bypass the speedo but have search and search and can't find it. I have a buddy that wants to bypass his speedo to get the awd to work. Maybe someone on here will chime in and let us know how its done.

Might check Breese Lawn Garden, 618 526 4980. Just replaced some parts on mine, cheapest I found. Except, thanks to Moosehenden, www.ridgerunner.biz/parts.htm. They appear to sell take offs. Not sure on speedo, but have pods, lights and other items.
