I have to agree with you on rebuilding vs. usedbut looking at the polaris parts they are very pricey does anybody know of a good aftermarket parts outlet to get these parts.

I would trade you a running 250 Trailboss.Wink! Hey man it is a 400L rebuild it with the right porting, pipe, clutching, carb mods. then go blow those Banshees away. You have apremo ride drop about $1000 into it.You can rebuild the topend on these for less than $250 stock with wiesco piston. But the mods I mentioned will make you a screamer.Give Rick Ritter a call and he can get you into shape on parts and/or complete rebuild.

Thanks for all the replies,we are going to rebuild it.I'm going to stop down and a local atv racing shop here in town that rebuilds engines all the time and see what they can do I've heard they are very good from some friends,my son is trying to talk me into hopping it up.So we will do some mods within our buget which is limited. Has anyone had any work done at jansen racing in Kaukauna Wi. I would be interested to hear what you have so say.

your always better off sticking with a polaris expert on the 400l some one who knows them inside and out or you'll be throwing your money away especially on mods
buy a rubbermaid tub from walmart and ship your motor to rick ritter then you wont have to worry about it and your sure to get the best bang for the buck!
listen to the masses RCR is the ticket
