Drake2 Has your Dealer already done the air box mod on your Hawkeye , i heard where one dealer was told to drill from 5 to 7 hole's in the air box i think they were about 1 half inch hole's and use some kind of rubber plug's in the hole's untill you get the jetting right ; i think the dealer has the plug's and as far as i know there just round rubber plug's ! I would check with the Dealer first because i have heard were some Dealer's were just rejetting the carb's instead of drilling hole's in the airbox because you can get water inside the air box just drilling the hole's and using the rubber plug's ! I think they already have fixed the problem on 2007 model , but if your Dealer doesn't have the update he maybe still using the hole's and's rubber plug's on them ; i know i wouldn't want a Dealer or anyone else trying to solve the problem any other way than rejetting it right the first time ! .............
