first of off, that is some excellent pics. to show detail. your probelm is the secondary clutch as i suppected. you need to remove it and take it apart to see what happened. looks like a spring problem what you can tell once its apart. note; pay close attenion to how this comes apart. all you need is a snap ring pliers(a good one) to take off the ring that holds it togetheron the tranny side(you cant see it form the outside) becareful as this is under pressure and the helix will come off in a hurry sometimes. now im not sure if its a regual preload clutch or a roller clutch. if its a preload the spring sets in little holes and has to be preloaded when put together. if its a roller clucth i beleave its a straight spring under alot of pressure. if you dont feel comfortable w/ disassembly then take it to someone who has a knowledge of these clutches. let us know. oh and maybe take the belt in to a dealer to compare it to a new one width wise and lenth to see if its worn alot. dont know the proper messurements.

Yes the secondary is stuck open and your belt is bad! Once you get the secondary fixed and new belt it should be 1 1/2" deflection, you don't want it to be rubbing on the primary shaft.

yes that is correct. but why is it open is the question that needs anwsering.
