Our family went to the local county fair yesterday. My 11yr said dad look at those 4 wheelers. An Arctic Cat dealer dislay. My buddy says in reply ( that's not a 4 wheeler, that's an Arctic Cat). I couldn't stop laughing. Doc

That's funny. I am not a real brand loyal person on atv's, sleds, boats, etc. but my son certainly is and he is 12. It's funny how many people I meet don't like the Cats which I find strange cuz I loved their sleds. My group of riding buddies all said if you want to go fast, buy a cat (speaking of sleds). I have only owned one cat atv, a DVX 450??? I think it was and I didn't like it. I know it was basically a Suzuki LTZ 450 but it did nothing for me. Now they have the big cat on the block with the Thundercat. I wonder if that will win them any fans.

Hey Doc I ran into a guy on the trails Sunday with a new AC not sure the size one of the big ones.He had 28in tires and a Broken front axle.Showed him the aftermarket axle and cv joint from The CVMAN and he said Dam that is bigger than the gorrila axles then he looked at the other side of my Scrambler where the stock axle is and it was still bigger than him AC axles.BTW I AM brand loyal but only because I see the differance in the others

imo, there's nothing wrong with a cat. my dad bought a '98 400 2 wheel drive new off the show room floor and it was the first quad I ever rode. I've taken it through just about everything that 4 wheel drives went through and then some. he still has it and it still rides like it did when new. I do love my sportsman though.

I won't lie, im extremely brand loyal, we have 3 polaris's and i love them all. Iv riden the cats and dispised it. i sort of liked the shifting, with the rocker shifter and all, but the handling was scary, it had more body roll than anything iv ever seen, and i could never own an atv like that, seeing as i take turns at stupid rates of speed. the cat would slow me down more then i wanna think about, im sorry, but ill keep the polariss thanks

I was riding on the road though, so any other time I would have just kicked the back end out, but I seriously had to slow down mid turn because it was so bad I thought I was going to roll it. My dad's Sportsman never has that problem, even at much higher rates of speed
