Scramdaddy,
Still working on the break-in on the scrambler. I went through some pretty deep water the other day. Not up to the seat or anything, just half way up the engine or so. Should i worry about changing the rear diff fluid? Also can u give me some cleaning tips because this thing gets muddy. Thanks
Cant wait until i can open this baby up!

Hey spyder30 remember the longer you ride it a day the faster it will be broke in and the sooner you can start openin'it up.
Now about needing to change the diff fluid you dont need to change it only periodically check the level and since you love water crossings as much a me check the fluid with a piece of white paper to see if water has gotten in, dip the paper down the fill hole to get a sample if its dark and looks normal your alright, if it looks milky brown color change that fluid.
I'm a clean freak when it comes to my scrambler, I've tried everything out there to get that machine to look its best.
First thing you want to do is take the rear fender, seat, pipe guard, skid plate, and foot guard off to get more room to clean. I know it may sound like a lot but its not, its worth the time to get your machine looking like new.
Then when thats all off go out and buy yourself these cleaners:
Self drying spotless car wash.
Formula 2001 spray cleaner for the plastics.
Brake cleaner (it evaporates) for cleaning the engine and any grease off your machine.
Scott shop towels to get the grease off and apply the cleaner to the plastic.
Terry cloth towels for washing.
SILICONE SPRAY and lots of it!!!
Now your ready to wash, let the fun begin.LOL.
Block the exhaust and intakes on the air box with plastic bags and rubber bands, Rinse excess mud off, Then wash, Degrease, Let dry.
After that apply the formula 2001 to all the plastics with the shop towels.
Now before you assemble everything back on grab that silicone and spray it on the whole machine (except the plastic thats been cleaned with 2001), the advantages of doing this is it prevents rust, protects electricals, prevents fading, protects your paint, prevents mud from sticking, and brings a really glossy shine to everything you spray it on.
Now put everything back together.
GET DIRTY, CLEAN, REPEAT.
