Default scrambler belt

As some of you know, im now riding after 4 years of the scrammy sitting.
The belt taps on the case occasionaly, and so im figuring its worn / warped.

I want a strong belt that will resist the elements and slipping, and
not break under heavy throttle, or hill climbs etc.

On HPD site, they show a polaris kevlar and say its the best available.
what about goodyear gatorback, or the carslie ones?

Also while i have the cover off what should i check?
