my buddy just bought a winch for his ride,and the control box looks like it came off of a overhead crane. we are trying to wire in a three stage self centering switch, but we can only get it to go either in or out, not both. Can someone please help me?

 

i dont know what kind of winch it is or really what kind of contacter it is, but the switch should have a in and out and 2 wires to the winch. one is for in and the other is for out. should be 4 connectors on the contacter where the power,negitive, and the 2 winch wires go out.
