Does any one have the service bulletins for a 2004 Sportsman 500? I know there is one regarding a pinched coil wire but I am unable to find it documented anywhere. If anyone has any information please let me know.

I have the same ride as you, My plug wire was pinched and stuck me out on the trail. It was repaired under warranty and they gave me another coil too. The best thing to do is copy your vin number down and bring it to a dealer to see if its in the range of the recall

 

I was stuck on the trail this last weekend and I think for the same reason. Thanks for the info. I will call up to my local dealer tomorrow.

 

how many miles on it, mine went with a little under 400 miles

 

I have 590 miles on it now.
