pull start for sportsman?

Default pull start for sportsman?

I would go the jumper cable route long before I would be taking off the cover and pull starting it. I guess that would be for extreme emergencies but can't imagine what that would be if you don't ride alone and you have jumper cables. I would think putting the cover back on while the engine was running would be both dangerous and time consuming. I think it would be tough to get the seal to sit right with all that vibration.

Like I said, "In emergency situations." Just passing on a little tidbit I got from a dealer back in 2002 when I bought my first twin.

I don't know of anybody who has put a pull starter on a twin, but it was priced out in a topic on this forum back in the winter months.
