Help 2000 Polaris sportsman speedo
Any and all help is appreciated!
Here is my question guys, My speedo went bad on my 2000 polaris sportsman 500 and I am looking to replace it. When I hook up the new one is there is something that could take out that speedo as well or do this seem to just go bad every now and again.. I dont want to spend the $ 275.00 on a new one if it will get ruined when i hook it up as well..

Are you sure it,s just not your "Hall Effect" senor ? Its located by the left front wheel and cost $50-$80. Mine went out on mine and my cousins 500 Scambler and only the speedo lights and hour meter work. The senor is known to go alot so I just use the wind in my face to tell how fast I go .
If the Speedo has something more seriously wrong with it you will have no 4WD .

speedo is out, speedo lights out, hourmeter out, no four wheel drive, no reverse override.
